Central Market
The Central Market ("Psar Thmei" in Khmer, meaning "New Market"), is a 1930s Art Deco covered market located near the Riverfront (Sisowath Quay). The market is in the shape of a large dome with four vast hallways branching out. The hallways are occupied by countless number of stalls selling everything including flowers, video games, souvenirs, apparel, shoes, food, gold and silver. The market is a must visit destination for tourists and opens from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Olympic Market
Called "Psar Olympic" in Khmer, the Olympic Market was built in 1994 and is a local favorite with shoppers looking for wholesale fabrics, day wear, religious paraphernalia, accessories, shoes and traditional Khmer dresses. Buyers can look forward to big discounts in this market especially if they are buying in bulk. The market is well laid out and is one of the more modern multi-story market complexes in Phom Penh. Buyer should definitely give this market a visit.

Russian Market
Called "Psar Toul Tom Poung" in Khmer, the market got its name because of its popularity with Russian expats during the Vietnamese occupation in the 1980s. Real designer clothes at huge discounts are found here. A lot of the factories for Levis, CK, Ralph Lauren and many others are in Phnom Penh. Designer clothes sold at the Russian Market are deemed unfit for export by the factories due to small faults in the clothing, which most would not notice. Beyond the designer clothes are souvenirs, jewellery, gold, silk, woodcarvings, bags and shoes. You can also purchase fake Swiss watches and pirated software at low prices.

City Mall
City Mall is located along Monireth Boulevard, near the Olympic Stadium. The mall opened in September 2009 and is the largest western-style mall in Phnom Penh - it is popular with the city's Western expats and Cambodia's growing middle-class population. City Mall has a large branch of Lucky Supermarket situated on the 1st floor.  as well as many fast-food outlets and modern shops. Items found here include clothes, shoes and electronics. There is a kid's play zone and cinema on the 4th floor. On the 1st floor, there are several fast food outlets.

Sorya Mall
Located on Street 63 (close to the corner with Street 154), Sorya Mall is Phnom Penh's main Western-style mall but rather drab by Western standards. This 5-floor mall is equipped with air-conditioning, passenger lifts and escalators. It is crowded with stalls, small shops and a range of cheap fast-food outlets as well as a well-stocked supermarket named Lucky Supermarket. The mall gets crowded during the weekends and you want to consider visiting the place during the weekdays.
