Siem Reap International Airport is the second largest airport in Cambodia after the airport in Phnom Penh. Serving northwestern Cambodia, the airport is located about 6 km from Siem Reap. Cambodia Asia Bank operates currency exchange service at the check-in area and airport information counter. Prepaid taxis cost USD9 - see the prepaid booth just outside the airport terminal. Prepaid tuk-tuk rides for slightly less are (USD7) also available. Thrill seeking solo travellers without much baggage can save a few dollars by opting for the back of a motodop for USD2. Most hotels offer a free airport pick-up if you've booked in advance.
