Melaka River Boat Cruise
During the era of the Melaka Sultanate and subsequent rule by the Portuguese and Dutch centuries ago, the Melaka River and its estuary attracted trading ships from all over the world. Today, the shallow Melaka River has lost its importance in trade and no longer a major port in the region. However, you can still take a 45-minute boat cruise on the Melaka River and pass by many of the historical and heritage sites in Melaka.
