Philippines

Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands situated between the Philippine Sea and South China Sea. The country is apart from the rest of Southeast Asia with a culture and history influenced by more than 300 years of Spanish rule. The people are predominantly Catholic and is the largest Catholic country in Asia. With a long coastline, the Philippines offers stretches of white sand as well as great spots for scuba diving and snorkelling. There are also jungles, mountains and caves waiting to be explored.
