Indonesia to Singapore
There are several ferry services to Singapore departing from the Indonesian island of Batam. Ferries depart from terminals at Batam Centre, Batu Ampar (Harbour Bay), Sekupang and Waterfront City (Teluk Senimba) and arrive at the HarbourFront Ferry Terminal (FT) in Singapore. However, the ferry service departing from
Nongsapura (on Batam Island) uses the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (FT) in Singapore.

All ferry services from the Indonesian island of Bintan depart at Tanjung Pinang and use the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (FT) in Singapore. There is also a ferry service sailing between Bintan Resorts (Bandar Bentan Telani) and the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (FT). The service is operated by Bintan Resort Ferries to Tanah Merah FT, sailing once daily on weekdays and increasing to 7 during weekends. From the Indonesian island of Karimun, there are ferries departing at Tanjung Balai to the Harbourfront FT.

Malaysia to Singapore
Ferries shuttle between Singapore and the southeastern tip of the state of Johor, a handy access to Malaysia's beach resort of Desaru.

  • Bumboats shuttle between Changi Point Ferry Terminal in Singapore and Pengerang, a village in southeastern Johor.
  • Ferries sail daily (except Tuesday) between the Tanah Merah FT and the integrated resort of Sebana Cove.
  • Cruise Ferries operates a service sailing between Tanjung Belungkor in Desaru and Changi Ferry Terminal 3 times a day.

Cruises
Singapore is a popular stop for round-the-world and major regional cruises including those originating from as far as Japan, China, Australia, Europe and North America. Many of these cruises embark and disembark their passengers in Singapore at the
HarbourFront FT, while others pay port visits. 

From Singapore, Star Cruises offers multi-day cruises to major sea points throughout Southeast Asia, departing from the HarbourFront FT. Popular itineraries on the Star Cruises are to destinations in Malaysia and Thailand but there are also cruises to Borneo (Malaysia), Cambodia, Vietnam and even Hong Kong.
