Resorts World Sentosa

Sentosa's newest and a major attraction is Resorts World Sentosa, an integrated resort built at cost of nearly USD5 billion. The resort had its grand opening in December 2012, though the attractions and hotels gradually opened beginning in January 2010. Key attractions include the Universal Studios theme park, Marine Life Park and two casinos. Resort World occupies nearly 50 acres and has four hotels totaling nearly 1,900 rooms.

Universal Studios Singapore
Opened in March 2010, this is the first Universal Studios theme park in Southeast Asia. The theme park comprises of seven zones including Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar, with tickets valid for all rides in all zones. The star of the park is Battlestar Galactica, the world's tallest "dueling" rollercoaster, with two tracks battling it out simultaneously: "Cylon" suspends you in the air, with plenty of loops and inversions, while "Human" is seated and reaches speeds of up to 90 km per hour.

Marine Life Park
Marine Life Park at Resort World Sentosa claims to have the world's largest oceanarium, called SEA Aquarium. The aquarium comprises of 10 zones and nearly 50 habitats, home to more than 800 species of marine creatures including the world's largest collection of manta rays. The Cove Adventure Waterpark features six water slides, a wave pool and tubing along the Adventure River. The is also a lazy river passing through 14 themed scenes including tropical jungles, grottoes and a underwater tunnel.

Other Attractions
Singapore's first casino is tucked away underground underneath the Crockfords Tower Hotel. Foreign visitors enter the casino free while Singaporeans and residents have to pay a casino levy. Other attractions at 
Resorts World include the varieties of shows and events including street and theatre performances. The Maritime Experimental Museum is an interactive and multi-sensorial museum devoted to Asia's rich maritime history and Singapore's history as a trading port. The FestiveWalk is a lively strip that never sleeps with plenty of shops and places to dine.
